one year in norway...

There we go...

Hey everybody,

Exams passed by and it went all very well. My mean of the year was 80% so I was very happy about that!

In the meanwhile we prepared for our big trip to Norway and said goodbye to lots of people (including boyfriends ). We are leaving this night at 2 PM to Kiel (Germany) to take the boat there to Oslo. We will travel 3 full days up to the north of Norway, Lofoten. The bungalow we rent isn't that for from Solvaer, the kapital of the Lofoten. We will spent a week overthere and after that we will spent a week in Vestfalen. On the 25th of July we start our journey back to belgium. With three days driving and a pitstop with my norwegian, home town friend, family and sister. On the 30th we will visit Oslo and take the boat again to Germany.

I hope that I can write something during our trip through the north. As soon as I can find an internetcafe I will give you a piece of my expierence overthere!

So, as I told before we are ready to rock Norway!Let's hope we can travel safe and that the wheater is sunny...

New LIfe

Hey,

Het is bijna een jaar geleden en velen waren deze site wellicht uit het oog verloren maar daar komt nu verandering in. 9 juli vertrek ik terug naar Noorwegen voor 3 weken om mijn familie, vrienden, kennissen, school,... te gaan bezoeken en om het mooie Lofoten te gaan bewonderen. De ideale gelegenheid dus om deze site een beetje op te fleuren. Gezien ik nu met examens zit ga ik waarschijnlijk nog niet zoveel te zeggen hebben. Maar ik hou jullie op de hoogte!

It has been almost a year since I've been writting on my blog and some of you might perhaps forgotten this spot on the internet but that's all gonna change! On the 9th of July I'm going back to Norway for three weeks!Togheter with Sams'family we're gonna travel to the Lofoten and visit my family and friends on our way.Right now, I'm dealing with my examinations just until the 27th of June. Yes, that's right, I'm spending my birthday studying... How freaky... :) I hope you're all doing fine! And if you're also travelling to Norway this summer, please let me know! x

so much happened

Because i'm had so much homework the last few weeks, I didn't get anytime to present you my diary. I went to austria with Sam a friend of mine to go skiing. It was nice to be there again after four years and...we were lucky with the wheater! :) I got myself a boyfriend. His name is Brecht 19 years old and he studies at the same university as me. My big project for school had his exhibition last week, it turned into a big succes so i'm more then just pleased with all the work we did. Ingrid, a norwegian friend of mine gave birth to a girl. Her name is not yet revealed, they want to keep it secret until the little girl got baptised. On 17the of May, we had the national day for Norway. I was pretty sad that day, thinking of all my friends up in the north having fun, singing, eating a lot of cake...This sommer, my younger sister Ayna is coming over: hoeraaaaaaaaaaa! :) She will stay at my house and hopefully we can travel a bit around. But that means that i'm not coming to norway this summer...Boe! I know..But But! Next summer i'll come with Sam and his family, me , my sister and my parents...maybe Brecht to (don't know yet) Very likely I might come to Oslo in September 2007, but that was just an idea...So how are you guys doing all over the world??? neu

Geen lief? Geen probleem, sleur een vriend of vriendin mee! Naar het schijnt zijn we een meisjeskring dus wie weet...
Je kan eindelijk dat zwart kleedje eens uit de kast halen dat je nog nooit aangedaan hebt.

24th of June 2006 my birthday! ST HANS

On the 23the of June my friends took me to a family park. And during the evening, everybody in Norway tries to go to the beach and grill some barbacue stuff togheter with friends and family. Normally they always have to deal with the bad wheater and this year was no exeption...

Life goes on here in Belgium. I have been very bussy the last few weeks because I startet at university. Very interesting but a hell of a lot to do! But we chill from time to time...we party and have fun! Here some pictures to get you in the right atmosphere....

I have been in Italy last week to visit an AFS-friend of mine, Francesca. She lives in Montepulciano not that far from Siena. She has a very warm and loving family overthere. I went to school with her for 1 day and enjoyed the amazing views from the village.
I want to thank her for her hospitality, the food, the bed and so many other things!A journey to never forget.

party of my grandfather...

This weekend my family and I had a great birthparty for my grandfather who has reach the age of 75. We were so lucky with the wheater, it didn't rain! There were a lot of old friends and ofcourse, as if it were a tradition, the whole family. It was strange to see all of them on one place after this year. My boyfriend has finished his second examinations and will know the results on 20th of septembre. I entered the university of Brussels (www.vub.be) and I will start my studies (educational sciences) on the 25th of septembre. Because I have to travel too long each day, my parents bought me an appartment for me to study on. (nesten som en hybell) Next tuesday, I will be leaving for Italy to visit my italian best friend, Fransceca. She was an AFS-student in Norway aswell.
